Room 6 -
Research Commons

Along with this Level Doc I provide the artists with a potential prop list, some additional source images (you can see some in each Level Doc) as well as some additional information on each area. It is important that the artists know if any props are important for gameplay as well as the purpose of the room. 


The purpose of the Research Commons is to let the player fight some simple enemies and get used to doing so before we add in the blinking mechanic and increase the complexity of combat. Notice how there are no props in the middle of the room. This is so the artists can begin modeling the room itself while we playtest the room's interior; this works really well for our tight timeframe and low scope!


This Room will also be a map for our "Horde" mode.
